Update On Drug Use In WWE, House Shows Getting Smaller Venues
- According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, although testing positive for marijuana under WWE's drug testing policy still only results in a fine, many wrestlers lately have seen what has happened to the guys who have failed tests and even guys who are big stars are staying away from it knowing it gets heat with management and nobody wants that.

- One business change stemming from declining house show numbers in WWE is the company has now started booking smaller buildings in major cities reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. A few examples of this include the recent stop in Cleveland, a house show in Vancouver last weekend where instead of using the big arena where the Canucks play they instead booked a 5,500 seat secondary arena and sold it out and in Bakersfield where they sold out a much smaller convention center. This new business change has allowed the company to cut down on costs by booking a cheaper building since they aren't going to sell 8,000 tickets to a non-televised house show in many markets.
