Variety.com reports that WWE Studios will be producing a comedy film called Suckerpunch, as well as a sequel to The Scorpion King which of course starred The Rock. They also confirm the previously reported Missing In Action remake.

Suckerpunch will reportedly star Big Show and be released in 2010.

"There's a real depth of talent we can use," WWE Studios' Michael Lake said of the wrestlers. "These guys are already entertainers. They're used to taking direction. We want to fashion movies to fit their personalities."

As of right now Suckerpunch, the Scorpion King sequel, and the Missing In Action remake are all scheduled to be straight-to-DVD released.
