Houston, TX (Toyota Center)
Report by: Adam Martin of WrestleView.com

- An intro for WWE Classics On Demand airs.

- A graphic opening then plays welcoming us to the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony. We go live to the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas to see a shot of the live crowd and the wrestlers in attendance in the front row.

- Todd Grisham is on stage and welcomes us to the ceremony on the eve of WrestleMania 25. Grisham asks the WWE stars in attendance to please stand. Grisham introduces the first Hall of Fame inductees: Terry and Dory Jr - The Funk's.

- A video package plays highlighting the history of Terry Funk and Dory Funk Jr.

- Grisham introduces "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes who will be inducting The Funk's tonight. Rhodes said there is so much to say when it comes to Terry Funk and Dory Funk Jr. He called Dory Funk Jr. a shootist and how he held the world title for a record four years. Rhodes said Terry Funk was another story and he was "extreme" before it was cool to call yourself that. He talked about the brothers history in Japan and how many times he has stepped into the ring with them. Rhodes said he has respect for them and The Funk's have respect for the fans. "One a shootist...the other one the last surviving outlaw in captivity," added Rhodes. Rhodes then introduces The Funk's to the stage.

- Terry thanks Dusty Rhodes for a great introduction. Dory Funk Jr. talks about winning the NWA world championship in 1969 adding that his father was so proud of him. He talks about how many bumps he has taken, the roads and flights he has taken and if he had the chance he would do it all over again. Dory said he loves professional wrestling and loves working with young talent in the business and watch them achieve their goals. He thanks all the promoters, the peers, the attorneys who have saved him over and over, his two wives, the Guerrero family, the Hart family, Gene Kiniski, the talent in WWE who has trained and the state of Texas for hosting WrestleMania. Terry Funk thanks his wife, his daughters, his grandchildren, his other family members, his peers, ECW and most of all the people he worked in the ring with over the decades. He jokes that he feels 105 years old and he is ready to go home. Terry said in heaven there will be Universal battle royal's going on and everyone will get a front row seat. They get a standing ovation from the crowd in attendance.
