Page 1 of 3:      1    2    3   Next  >>
What a killer night of pro wrestling talk as we bring it back to the name sake. This IS THe Interactive Interview! Not only did Terry Funk talk about the amazing event to happen in Philadelphia, PA on June 27 which you can attend and meet your favorite ECW originals with proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society (visit http://myspace.com/legendsofthearena for tickets) BUT we get call in guest questions and are even joined on a special call in for Terry Funk by "The First Lady of Wrestling" Missy Hyatt! How cool is that?

Then, a hot name in the business right now, former TNA Knockout Roxxi joins us to clear the air about her situation with Rhaka Khan!

- Roxxi has recently been released from TNA Wrestling, and she admits that she was shocked by it. Right now she's trying to get her name back out there on the Indy scene.

- She was told that the reason she was released was because they didn't have anything more for her character creatively.

- When asked about the story about her & Rhaka Khan having a backstage confrontation, she says that the story was blown out of propotion. She said that the match where the problem happened was a 4 Way Tag for the Knockouts. Roxxi got hit and then gave a receipt and the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. After it was over, they both hugged and all was forgiven.

- She talks about her more Hardcore style she says it came from her early training. Roxxi is more of a mixed style, but the brawling aspect stuck in TNA. When she first went through training, she was taught to be more agressive and that's where that came from. She likes being compared to Mick Foley and was honored to meet him, especially when he recognized her. She admits that she is not willing to do some of the things he did though.

- Probably her craziest match was the Ladder Match with Gail Kim & she says that both of them put alot of creativity into the match and it turned out really well.

- The spelling of her name "Roxxii" and originally "Nikki Roxx" she admits comes from her love of Rock music, and she was happy that when she went to TNA they let her keep the Roxx part of her original name.

- She loved being around VKM when she first came in and says both Kip & BG have a ton of wrestling knowledge and they really helped her out.

- The Voodoo Queen gimmick is something that she admits is not an extension of who she really is, and she wasn't sure what to think of it at first. She ended up changing costumes multiple times before she debuted. When asked if the character was based off of Pirates of the Carribean character, she says that at least one person was thinking along those lines. She was happy to have a job with TNA and ended up getting used to the character.
