While no one from WWE has made any official comment, people close to Edge say that he came through yesterday’s Achilles tendon surgery as well as they could have hoped for. However, he will be forced to completely stay off the foor for 10 to 14 days. After that, he’ll be able to walk while wearing a rehabilitation boot. Shortly after, he’ll be able to begin his rehab. Depending on how the injury heals, he could be out until around the time of Royal Rumble 2010.

It’s interesting that WWE.com noted Edge’s surgery today as he appears on Friday’s episode of SmackDown which was taped last week.
