Backstage ROH News: Cornette's Future, Homicide In NYC, More
By Ryan Clark | September 28, 2009

There is no truth to the rumors that Chris Hero has signed with WWE. There is interest from WWE, but no official offer has been made.
Jim Cornette's role will be "Executive Producer" of the ROH on HDNet series. He will work with Adam Pearce on the creative end, but Pearce will remain the head booker. Cornette will likely work in the HDNet Production truck, and work in a role similar to what he was when he left TNA, in an effort to make the TV product better.
TNA star Homicide was at the show Saturday to see the McGuinness and Danielson farewell. He appeared before the crowd before the show.
Julius Smokes was at the show, and came out for the farewell at the end.
