The fallout from Slammiversary kicks off TNA’s 5th year!

LAST WEEK on Impact:

NWA Champion Christian Cage is out to begin the show.

Cage: Slammiversary…this Sunday, the KOTM match. A match that doesn't favor me, but the champ is feeling pretty confident. So I will lay it down for the challengers. Abyss, you are a tough son of a bitch, and I will say this slow…you cannot beat me! Ron Killings, you say you are the hungriest guy in the match, I can hear it in your voice. All you say it "what's up?" It's all so clear to me now. One last thing Busta Rhymes, I know you want to be champ but you better wrestle better than you dance. Jeff Jarrett, what can be said about Jarrett. Well I will say, he does a good job of embarrassing himself, so that's that. Lastly is Sting. Sting I have something to say, and you may not like it.

Sting is out to hear this in person.

Cage: Sting, did you come out to listen or steal some more of my thunder?

Sting: No, I came out here to make a point. I came here to remove JJ, and that is all.

Cage: You think I was born yesterday, you think I'm green? I can see through that Noxzema of yours. I respect you, but you need to tell me that you only want to stop JJ, you are saying that you won't try to grab the title and try to climb the ladder and win?

Sting: I have nothing left to prove, I am on a quest to remove JJ from TNA.

Cage: You say that JJ is the worst for TNA…I'll tell you, the worst thing that could happen to TNA is for mew to lose the NWA title. No disrespect to you guys, it has to do with me, this is MY TIME!

They stare down and Cage leaves.

Match #1 The Diamonds in the Rough defeated The Naturals

After the match, Chase, who is busted open the hard way chases Simon and they now chase him into the crowd. They get near the LAX table and cross the border and the LAX attacks the Naturals. They beat them down and toss them over the railing. Shane Douglas is out and we head to a commercial.

Shane Douglas tossed the Naturals back into the ring. He says they pissed away their talent. One Year ago, Candido took them to the top of the business. Finally Douglas says that there will be a lot of hard work, but he swears on his God and father above that he will take the Naturals back to the top.

Match #2 Kevin Nash defeated Mr. X

Global Impact shows us video footage from "The Arena." They show some great footage, including the James Gang vs. Team 3D match and the rain of chairs heading into the ring.

Jim Cornette is in the ring.

Welcome to the Impact Zone. I said I was here to straighten up this company. This company has all the talent and promise in the world, but it needs to be straightened up. People have been on the take and I have been given the power to shake things up. Now then, I have had meetings all day long, and will have more tonight. They are closed-door meetings, so there are no rumors. No cameras, and Borash, if you knock on my door and I will boot you, when I need you, you will know. Hey LAX, we had an appointment, and you didn't show up. I know you are on Mexican time, but don't miss another one. There are things I need to go over. Next week I will have even more announcements, but next week, an example will be made and someone will be fired next week. What is best for TNA and the fans, is what I will do. They chant "FIRE JARRETT!" This right here is the NWA title and JJ wants it bad. But as far as I am concerned, things happened with JJ and others that make me SICK and embarrassed, and ashamed to be a part of pro-wrestling. As of NOW, JJ is NOT the NWA Champion. As of now, there IS NO NWA champion. By next week, I will have a decision and a MAJOR announcement about Victory Road. Now this is personal. JJ, I knew you since you were 14. I loved your grandma and loved your father. She would be ASHAMED of you. You want to power play with me? Well I played them before and won. We'll bump heads and mine's harder than yours and I will see you next week!

Here comes JJ to argue with Cornette on the ramp. JJ wants his belt but Cornette refuses.

Back from commercial and the Diamonds make their entrance.

NWA Tag Team Title Match: Christopher Daniels & A.J. Styles © vs. The Diamonds in the Rough (Elix Skipper & David Young w/Simon Diamond)

Daniels and Young to begin. Elix sneak attacks Daniels as Young tosses AJ off the apron. Young slams Daniels and covers for 2. Tag to Elix, and they get a back breaker/top rope elbow combo. Elix clubs away at Daniels and then delivers a stiff kick. Cover by Elix for 2. Off the ropes and Daniels is crotched on the top rope. New school countered and Daniels looks for the tag. Young in and a jawbreaker by Daniels…tag to AJ. Clotheslines for all by AJ. Goes for the clash, stopped. Daniels hip tosses Elix. Back suplex/clothesline combo gets 2 for AJ. Total elimination variant to Elix. Enziguri on Young. Simon makes the save, but the TRANNY is in and Slams Simon and then tosses him. Uranage on Young by Daniels. BEST MOONSAULT EVER…FROG SPLASH by AJ…and that is all.

Winners: AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels via pin @ 3:25

Gail is out for revenge, but the TRANNY tries to chokeslam her and AMW saves her.

Fine to get AJ and Daniels off to a good start and get their in back over the Diamonds.

JB is outside Cornette's office. Sabin, Lethal and Eric Young all await their meetings. Eric is afraid of being fired. He says it is just his luck and here is JJ. He doesn't need an appointment. He hates Cornette and he has his belt and he is getting it back.

JB is still outside Cornette's office. Lethal and Sabin ask why Eric is so worried. JJ comes out, and Eric wants to know if he is fired. JJ doesn't care. He has to wait 7-days to wait to hear about his title.

Monty Brown vs. Chasyn Rance

Monty attacks as Slick Johnson is in his soccer ref gear. Monty brutalizes Rance, fall away slam. Off the ropes…POOOOOUUUUNNNNNNNNNNC----AHHH! PERIOD!

Konnan is on the mic and he invites Monty to join LAX. Konnan says he is a superstar, has mic skills, college educated, but Monty is held down. He says Monty hasn't had many title shots, and Konnan says that is by design. Konnan says they treat minorities back and they have done it to LAX and Monty. Monty thinks on it, and Konnan says to be like Killings and Dutt and be alone.

Ron Killings is out now with a mic. Konnan is happy as he makes his way out. Killings asks, "What's up." He says someone called his name, and he is here. Konnan says it is all good, and tells LAX to back off. Konnan says they have been tag champs and sold out Mexico and Puerto Rico. They have been to each other's crib and chilled. Killings is nothing to TNA. Killings is sick of it. Konnan says he is a brother. TNA doesn't look at talent, they look at race. Konnan says to join them and they will take what's theirs. Don't play the white man's games. They hug…and LAX BEATS HIM DOWN! SET UP! Hernandez and Homicide whoop his ass and toss him away from the border.

SQUASH…it's what's for dinner.

In the back with JB. Eric Young paces as Lethal and Sabin are in the office. Eric says the worst news is always last. JB tells Eric to tell the world about his concerns. Eric loves the idea. Lethal and Sabin leave, and tell JB nothing except that, "Nash will love it." Eric tells JB not to reveal their secret plan. AWESOME~!

Back from commercial and we are with JB. Christian Cage is here, and says to JB, "Come on Seacrest you saw Slammiversary." There is controversy and Cornette should do the right thing and give him back the title. He enters the office.

In the back the James Gang and Team 3D are talking . They are having a joke off apparently, and telling mamma jokes. This is lame, what the hell is this? Is this the next evolution of wrestling feuds? Street fight, cage matches, joke off? They finally brawl after Ray makes fun of Bullet Bob. They brawl up the entrance tube and down the ramp. They get chairs and BG levels Devon and then Ray. Hey crotch chops, watch Raw people! RUNT is here. ACID DROP on BG! He cleans house. Ray on the mic, Ray challenges them, 7-days, them and Runt vs. The James Gang and a partner of their choosing, and fight one last time.

In the back with JB outside Cornette's office. Cage comes out and says he knows nothing. He has to wait one week as well and he is perplexed. Sting is here. Cage says he doesn't know if it will work with Cornette. Cage asks if they are friends. Sting says Cage will be the first to know what happens after the meeting.

Back from commercial with highlights of the TNA Knockouts Photo Shoot. Sweet Jesus there was some hot ass in there.

TNA X-Division Title Match: Samoa Joe© vs. Senshi vs. Sonjay Dutt

Senshi attacks both men, forearms to Joe and Joe back with a leaping kick. Dutt with knees to Joe, charges Joe, misses and gets a flip dive on Senshi. Eric Young is in the crowd with a "DON'T FIRE ERIC YOUNG" sign. Joe to the floor and they chant for Young. Joe slams Dutt into the railing and then Senshi into the ring apron. Sets up Dutt in a chair…OLAY KICK OF DOOM to Dutt. He sets up Senshi…charges and Senshi with a flying clothesline to stop Joe. Back into the ring and Senshi with kicks to Joe as we head to a commercial @ 2:25.

Back @ 5:55 with Senshi kicking the out of Joe, covers and gets 2. Dragon clutch try, Joe counters, kicks and off the ropes…basement dropkick by Senshi. Misses the Shining Wizard, but Senshi with a back kick connects. Cross body off the top by Dutt gets 2. Knees to Senshi, drop toehold and a senton and standing moonsault by Dutt gets 2. Kicks to Joe, chops, off the ropes and flapjack by Joe. Slaps by Senshi, kicks and an atomic drop by Joe, running dropkick and the running senton back splash. Sling shot RANA by Dutt on Joe. He charges, Joe nails him and chokes him on the apron. Running dropkick by Senshi sends Joe to the floor. Ultimo Dragon reverse DDT by Dutt for 2 on Senshi. Steiner is out and KILLS Joe with a chair shot! Joe is out! TIDAL CRUSH by Senshi on Dutt! Steiner stands over Joe, Senshi up top…DOUBEL STOMP OF DESTRUCTIVITY and Senshi wins!

I HATED that we had to have the commercial break in this match, I HATED it. That being said, it was a fun match and got the title off of Joe so he can move onto bigger things.

Senshi celebrates as Tenay says that Joe was never defeated for his title. We get replays of the chair shot and DOUBLE STOMP. Senshi continues to celebrate as they speculate what will happen next week.

We see Sting coming out of Cornette's office and he says he got everything he wanted, and that Cornette will work out just fine.
