WWE RAW opened with a video highlight package from last week where Edge challenged John Cena for the WWE title with special guest referee Mick Foley. After Cena defeated Edge, Edge and Lita attacked the Hardcore Legend for "costing" Edge his chance at becoming a 2 time WWE Champion.

The Road to Wrestlemania continues tonight in Trenton, New Jersey. Ric Flair is scheduled to defend his Intercontinental Title against Shelton Benjamin while Triple H, Rob Van Dam and the Big Show face off in the finals of the Road to WrestleMania Title Shot Tournament.

Divas Battle Royale
Candice Michelle vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Ashley Massaro vs. Maria Kanellis vs. Victoria vs. Mickie James

The start:

Before the match started, the WWE Womens Champion Trish Stratus made her way to the stage to scout her competition. Back in the ring, the action started as Victoria attacked Maria, who reversed the attack into a side slam.

Mid-match notes:

Maria attacked Candice Michelle and pummelled her with fists on the canvas. The first elimination came when Victoria eliminated Torrie Wilson. Candice demanded an explanation from Victoria but didn't' get one. Maria hit a bronco buster on Candice Michelle in the corner. Mickie James pulled Maria off Candice and eliminated her by throwing her through the ropes to the floor. Ashley and Mickie brawled back and forth until Mickie trapped Ashley (who slipped out and King mentioned it, 3 exclusive photos at the link below) in a head scissors and attempted to drop her over the ropes.

The Finish:

Candice Michelle ran over and dumped both Ashley and Mickie over the ropes to win the match!

Winner – Candice Michelle

The Aftermath:

Candice said that she was the hottest thing on RAW and come WrestleMania, she'll be the new Womens Champion.

An Interruption:

The Rated-R Superstar's music hit and Edge and Lita came out to the ring and got in the face of Candice Michelle. Lita ripped the mic from Candice's hand and told her to split.

Edge then told Candice to get the hell out his ring and to "hit the bricks toots". Last week, Edge said he had JOhn Cena beat and the only reason he is not the champion is because of one man — Mick Foley! So Mick, I hope your sitting nice and comfy on your couch because you're about to learn what happens when you mess with the Rated-R Superstar. The past couple of weeks, people have been taunting Edge and Lita with Hacksaw Jim Duggan imitations, calling Lita a "ho". Edge said he was going to take care of that tonight as he challenged Hacksaw Jim Duggan to a match and he accepted. Lita took the mic and ordered Duggan to get his goofy-eyed behind down to the ring and learn that no one messed with Edge.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Edge

The start:

This match began during the commercial break on WWE.com Unlimited.

Mid-Match Notes:

Edge slammed the face of Jim Duggan into the steel steps as Lita smiled on in approval. Edge gave Duggan a few lefts only to have him fire back with rights and lefts of his own. Duggen then threw Edge back in the ring and screamed out "Ho!". As Duggan tried to enter the ring, Edge nailed him in the head with a dropkick. Edge covered Duggan after a belly-to-back suplex for a 2 count. Duggan then put Edge down with a clothesline and whipped him to the buckle where he mounted the Rated-R Superstar and delivered 10 shots to the head of Edge.

The Finish:

Duggan then went down for his 3-point stance clothesline, but Lita grabbed his ankle to distract him. As he turned back to face Edge, Duggan was nailed with a spear and was pinned for the 3-count.

The Aftermath:

Edge took Duggan's 2x4 and nailed him between the eyes, sending a message to Mick Foley. Edge then asked Foley if he saw what happened to Duggan. Edge promised that was nothing compared to what will happen to him since he cost him the chance to walk into WrestleMania as Champion. Edge then told Foley to listen carefully since he only had one ear — Mick FOley vs Edge at WrestleMania! He gave Foley one week to reply or else he'll track him down and beat him in front of his own family.
