Hogan / Lawler match off, new opponent announced

The Hulk Hogan / Jerry Lawler match scheduled for April 27th in Memphis has been changed. Lawler will no longer be wrestling Hogan, with the announcement that he was pulled out due to contractual reasons. It is rumored that WWE is involved in pulling Lawler from the match.

Hogan's new opponent will be Paul Wight, formerly The Big Show in WWE. Wight has remained close friends with Hogan over the years, and it is believed that this is being done as a favor to Hogan. Wight will be billed as Paul Wight, as WWE owns the the rights to the names "The Giant" and "The Big Show".
