Update On The SmackDown!/ECW Merger; Details
– Vince McMahon is planning ahead with the possible Smackdown!/ECW merger just in case the Sci Fi Network does not renew their contract.
Bonnie Hammer is in charge of the Sci Fi and USA Network and the future of ECW will be the hands of Hammer. As previously reported the network has sent WWE many suggestions to change their programming but neither the McMahons or the creative department has considered using the ideas. They feel that they know their industry the best and it's best to not let people from the 'outside' dictate what happens in their programming.
