Survivor Series Main Event, Daivari/WWE Creative Team, More

As previously reported, advanced local advertisements are promoting the Survivor Series main event as Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Umaga & Randy Orton. It should be noted that the only thing that these advertisements mean are that at the time that they were made, this is the direction that WWE planned on going in. As we have seen over the past few months with injuries and other storyline changes, everything is subject to change as we get closer to the event. Survivor Series will take place on November 18th in Miami, Florida.

The reason that Daivari asked for his release was because he was not getting booked enough after making several suggestions to the WWE creative team on ways to utilize his character. Daivari constantly pitching storyline suggestions to Brian Gewirtz (who was a big supporter of Daivari) and other creative team members ended up working against him. Things have been very stressful as of late for the creative team and the last thing that they want is a prelim wrestler adding stress. Daivari's contract with WWE was up in February and while they were talking a new deal, he ultimately made the decision not to sign it. He asked for his release and it was granted.
