Several WWE employees are out in California this week filming promotional material for January's Royal Rumble PPV. WWE Senior Vice President John Laurenitis is on the set supervising. The commercial features several top WWE superstars fighting in a New York subway. The 2008 Royal Rumble takes place Sunday night January 27 from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

As we've previously reported, WWE plans to run a storyline leading up to the Royal Rumble involving several of the stars from the hit TV show (and movie) "Jackass". Royal Rumble is sponsored by the Jackass video game. Fans will be able to participate in the "Roll to the Royal Rumble Jackass Style Sweepstakes" – winner gets Rumble & round trip plane tickets, 1 night in a New York City hotel, a signed copy of the Jackass game and the chance to meet a WWE Diva.
