The Miami Herald is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment has rejected a deal offered by the estate of Chris Benoit. According to the report, WWE refused to pay $2 million to Benoit's two surviving children from a previous marriage as ''recognition of their father's contributions to the company,'' according to Chris Benoit's father, Michael Benoit's attorney Cary Ichter. The publication noted that this could have set the stage for a "potentially nasty and protracted legal battle."
Here are the fast national ratings that Survivor: China, featuring Ashley Massaro, drew on December 16th, according to Zap2it.com: Hour 1 of the Survivor: China finale drew a 8.2 rating with a 12 share, putting CBS in first place for the 8 PM time slot. Hour 2 of the Survivor: China finale drew a 8.8 rating with a 13 share, putting CBS in second place for the 9 PM time slot. The Survivor: China reunion special drew a 7.3 rating with a 12 share, putting CBS in second place for the 10 PM time slot.
