WWE House Show results from Binghamton, NY: Orton vs. Hardy

Thanks to Joe for sending us the WWE House Show Results for Raw in Binghamton NY.

Match 1

Brian Kendrick beat Charlie Haas with sliced bread #2. Not much to say here. Haas did not wear the mask tonight and the crowd was really riding him.

Match 2

Snitsky defeat Super Crazy in a complete squash match in about a minute with a pumphandle slam.

Match 3

Vladimir Koslov beat Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Actually a pretty good match Koslov has a great physique but he needs a new finisher. He picks the guy up on his shoulders as if going for a death valley driver then just drops to his knees. A reverse backbreaker i guess, Gutbuster??? Either way it looked stupid

Match 4

D H Smith beat Trevor Murdoch with a small package. D H looked a little smaller than I remember on TV. Decent match, a lot of wear down holds though. And smith didn't do any power moves. Definitely didn't look anything like his old man.

Match 5

Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes retain tag titles over Santino and Carlito. Great match. I wasn't a big fan of Rhodes going in. I thought he was still a bit green but he looked good. Santino and Carlito may not be together too long, prior to the match Santino got on the mike and said how great of a friend Carlito was, such as last week when Santino was too tired to take Maria out dancing Carlito took her for him and didn't bring her home until 7AM and she was so tired she could barely walk. That got a good laugh from the crowd.

Match 6

Y2J beat JBL via count out. OK match, not too much happened, crowd was really into Y2J though. I'd say 2nd loudest pop of the night. After the match Y2J walked around ringside and shook every hand stuck out for him, even signed some autographs on the way back, very classy. They actually had to play his music 2 times through before he got to the back. I'm sure he made a lot of kids happy.

Match 7

Beth Phoenix retains title over Mickie James with her fishermans buster. Good match went pretty long too. Mickie really played her sexuality up to the crowd.

Match 8

HBK over Umaga with sweet chin music. HBK definitely had the biggest pop of the night. Before the match he got on the mike and said you know todays Sunday, this is supposed to be a day of rest, and asked the crowd if we would mind if he took the day off. Of course the crowd screamed yes and he just said oh fine, and got back in the ring. Funny stuff

Main Event

Randy Orton over Jeff Hardy with the RKO cleanly in a very short match, I would say 5 minutes tops. I would imagine they're still a little hurt from Monday plus you definitely don't want them getting hurt before the Rumble so understandable.

Overall, it was a great show. I don't normally go to the house shows because they just don't feel the same without the tron and pyro, plus you know that even though there are title bouts you most likely wont see a title change because they want to show those on TV, but it was a great time.
