Linda Hogan Finally Speaks Out On Her Divorce Filing
By Shawn Moniz | January 25, 2008
-- Linda Bollea, best known as Linda Hogan, is accusing Hulk Hogan of "legal shenanigans" in a court filing this week. She claims that he tried to get her to sign a post-nuptial agreement and says he is hiding $10 million from a 2007 real estate transaction from her. She has asked a judge to freeze his assets, plus that he will not be allowed to use any of the money from the real estate sale in question, which is a residence in FL. Linda has asked for a temporary injunction in her emergency motion filing.
She also asserts that with the assets from the $10 million home that was sold last August, Hogan took her to Tampa Attorney Les Barnett the following month under the guise that Barnett was helping them do estate planning. Instead she claims that Hogan wanted her to sign a drafted post-nuptial agreement. She says that she was duped and gave away confidential divorce information in the session and led her to filing for divorce.
She admitted to removing $1.5 million from their accounts due to what she called suspicious behavior by her husband last year. She says that she has not spent it.
She also asserts that money taken out of their accounts had been placed in a limited liability corporation and the only person who can access the funds is Eric Bischoff, of all people.
