Tons Of Evening TNA & WWE News: Edge, SD!, iMPACT, Loads More

WWE.com has a great story about Edge meeting with a Make-A-Wish child at last week's Smackdown/ECW tapings in Philadelphia.

Brad Belanger sent this in: I wanted to let you guys know the new WWE Smackdown games new match type was announced at E3 this year and videos can be found on youtube all over the place. The new match type this year is the Inferno match and from all I've seen it looks pretty solidly implemented.

Roy Sutherland sent this in: At Zellers and Giant Tiger I've noticed they still keep a bit of VHS tapes in stock and I looked through and saw WWE tough enough, Unforgiven 2003, Shawn Michaels from the vault at Zellers and this year and I only saw a copy of Insurrection 2002 at Giant Tiger the other day. They are selling at 2.99 brand new. I just thought I let you know.

TNA will be taping iMPACT! again tonight in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios to air next Thursday on Spike TV. Results from last night's tapings are up on the main newsboard. Tonight's taping is the final Impact before the Hard Justice PPV on August 10 in Trenton, New Jersey.

Information on TNA's new mobile video game is posted on TNAWrestling.com.

RJ Gabrintina sent this in: On the roster page of TNA's website, they have changed Daivari's name to Abdul Bashir.

Regarding the supposed Raw/ECW taping on 12/1 in Washington D.C., the ECW taping is still on, reports PWInsider.com. The deal is that WWE will be taping ECW prior to Raw on weeks in which SmackDown is being taped on a Sunday for some reason. SmackDown's occasionally taped on Sundays to accommodate international tours. At the moment, it doesn't look like ECW will be with Raw full-time.

Victoria is the latest Diva to be featured in WWE.com's "Summer Skin" feature. You can see her material at WWE.com. She lists Sensational Sherri as her favorite WWE Superstar.
