Vince McMahon is up for a 2008 CableFAX Hall of Fame Inductees award. Shawn Michaels is up for a Best Actor/Actress/Host award. Monday Night RAW is up Best Show or Series In The Following Genre: Other award. Vince McMahon's Car Explosion is up the Best Surprise Ending award. Stephanie McMahon is up for a Best Writer award. When Hulk Hogan was recently asked for his thoughts on Freddie Prinze, Jr. joining WWE's creative team, he said "I think he's probably just as qualified as everybody else up there that knows nothing about the art form of the business."

As noted earlier this morning here on the site, DK Publishing has plans to release a WWE Encyclopedia as a part of the WrestleMania XXV hype next March. The book will cost around $40. DK Publishing has published similar books for other entertainment companies such as DC Comics.

For those who missed it yesterday, the 8/2 Saturday Night's Main Event program drew a 1.4 overall rating, by far the worst rating in the history of the show. The show drew just 2.3 million viewers and did a horrible 0.8 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic. Saturday Night's Main Event drew far less viewers than SmackDown despite airing on a much larger network.
