Tons & Tons Of TNA iMPACT! Video Game Feedback & Problems

I received lots of feedback after passing on that a few people had issues getting the new "TNA iMPACT!" video game on Tuesday. A good amount of people sent word that they were able to get a copy on Wednesday, while others still were not able to find a copy. Here is our first batch of feedback on this:

Craze sent this in: The Wii version of the game will not come out until October. My local GameStop has my order on hold until October. I found out about this about a month ago.

bankyb13 sent this in: I went to Best Buy in Owings Mills, Maryland to buy the game yesterday and they told me it would not be coming out until Wednesday the 10th. I thought that was weird. I went back today and they did not have any out. After asking someone, the sales clerk said they were only given 4 copies and have not unpacked them yet. So she went into the back of the store and looked for the game and eventually found one for me to buy.

Carl Howie sent this in: I work in the electronics department at a Target in Kissimmee, Florida. Every week we have the replace the label strips for all the video games. When the new strips are put up, some games are moved around in the case and they also add spots on the labels for any new releases. Impact was only on the PS2 strips. Chances are since it wasn't on 360 or PS3 strips, Target will not be carrying it for those systems. It's very rare that I see a game added in its second week of release.

Kevin Provance sent this in: Regarding the non availability of the TNA game: Here in Florida (Sarasota/Bradenton) – Florida, where the damned show is taped – it's no where to be found. My eight year old son has been looking forward to this since last year and is so disappointed, which in turn pisses me off. Target, no go, Walmart, no go, Kmart, no go, Best Buy (a 45 minute f–king drive, no go (even worse, the punk ass I talked to at BB said they had plenty, bloody liars). I can't begin to tell you what a major disappointment this is. Who is in charge of distributing this game, Vince Russo? Wouldn't surprise me with all the stupid gimmick matches (Val's ring...lamer than lame) as of late. Sorry, I'm venting, cause I'm pissed. Two hours in the car in traffic will do that. Good luck on finding this game any damned place.

Cougar sent this in: I work at EB Games here in Australia, and just to let you know about the release of the TNA Video Game. The game has not launched on all SKU's yet, as we have only received the PS2 and PS3 versions of the game. The 360 version is slated for release tomorrow on the 12th, but it may well yet be delayed a little longer. The Wii version is currently slated for sometime in October. With the report of the free DVD's that you receive with the game, that is definitely valid in Australia, as to redeam them, you send them to a local Australian address.

Mike M. sent this in: Best Buy Website says all but PlayStation 3 version is back order. SF Bay Area stores hardly have it (what the website says) I've only seen two Best Buy stores that have them...WalMart.com says there not sold in stores but you can buy them online? FYE.com has it on pre- order. Gamestop.com has them online...TARGET.com says item arriving in 2 to 6 weeks.

David sent this in: I'm from NY, I got my TNA Impact for 360 at Game stop. Their shipment came in on Wed. 9/10/08. But I also wanted to get the game for my kids for the WII but they said it doesn't come out until next week for the WII.

Steve James sent this in: Just wanted to let you know I purchased the TNA video game this afternoon. It's now on sale at Best Buy stores here in San Antonio,Tx. I saw a couple of other people buying the game as well. It looks like it might do good sales.

Kenny sent this in: Hey guys, I preordered TNA Impact for the Playstation 2 at Gamestop. When I picked it up I received a free DVD which contains the following matches.

1. Ultimate X from Final Resolution 2005.
2. Ultimate X from Bound for Glory 2007.
3. Elevation X from Destination X 2007.
4. King of the Mountain from Slammiversary 2007.
5. Steel Asylum from Sacrifice 2008.

On a side note, I'd strongly recommend to any readers of your website to rent this game before buying it. It's not bad for a "video game" but as a "wrestling game" it falls short like no other. I'd go as far as to compare it to the old WCW games Nitro and Thunder, just with a better control scheme.

Travis sent this in: For what systems are these reports geared towards? TNA Impact was released for every system except the Wii on Tuesday of this week. It will be released for the Wii on will be released on Sept 16, 2008.
