WWE Takes Shot At TNA, Salinas Update Inside, Angle, More

WWE.com posted an item regarding TNA's newly released video game, "TNA Impact!", saying the game fell short of an IGN.com reviewer's expectations. The game was deemed "passable" with a 6.4 overall rating. Basically, it's unlikely WWE.com would post a news item if one of their "SmackDown vs. Raw" video games got a lackluster review.

Regarding TNA Knockout Shelly "Salinas" Martinez' recent title win – the World Wide Women Wrestling Championship – according to the promotion, she won it in a Round Robin Tournament with "16 of the World's top female wrestlers." They misspell their own champion's first name, but wrote on the website: "Shelley will have some tough competition in the coming months, but is sure to represent the championship with grace, honour and dignity. Congratulations Shelley!" The website doesn't say who she beat though, just that she simply won the belt. TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan (under another name) is also listed on the promotion's website.

For viewers in Canada, Kurt Angle will be appearing on TSN's Off the Record program tonight at 6:00 p.m. The TNA crew is in town for this Sunday's No Surrender pay-per-view, hence the interview.
