Former WWE star Joey Mercury was scheduled to wrestle Tyler Black in the main event at last night's AA Wrestling indy show in Berwyn, IL, but pulled out. The AAWrestling.com website posted a statement reading: "Breaking News: Joey Matthews Refuses To Come to Berwyn and Challenge Tyler Black For The AAW Heavyweight Championship." Claudio Castagnoli took his place in the match.
Rob Van Dam has put up an event worn singlet on eBay up for auction with the proceeds goings towards helping the families of the two little girls who were murdered in Oklahoma. "Sonya wants the proceeds of this week's auction to go towards helping the unfortunate families of those innocent little girls and we hope attention is not taken off of finding the responsible parties and bringing them to justice."
