TNA Live Event Attendance Figures - ROH vs. TNA - Major Concern

? Here are some recent TNA attendance figures courtesy of TNAWrestlingNews.com:

– 10/3 in Lowell, MA drew 700 fans. This is the same 6,000 seat arena the company held the Lockdown PPV in earlier this year in April that drew 5,400 paid fans which was the company's biggest attendance in company history. TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that TNA's Bound for Glory PPV in Chicago MAY have beat that figure and if not it came extremely close.
– 10/4 in Glens Falls, NY drew 900 fans.
– 10/5 in Plattsburgh, NY drew 900 fans.
– 10/10 in Davenport, Iowa (house show) drew only 600 fans.
– 10/12 in Chicago, Illinois (Bound For Glory) drew an estimated 5,000 fans in a setup for 8,000. TNAWrestlingNews.com doesn't have an OFFICIAL number just yet. I'm sure they will post one shortly.

? It should be noted that there has been some concern expressed internally within TNA over house show business according to the guys over at TNAWrestlingNews.com. While TNA's shows have been considered largely successful economically – as in two nights not being profitable, but adding a third the tours would become profitable – business the last month has been noticeably down. In some markets, they draw only slightly better than Ring of Honor and considering that they have bigger star power and two hours of prime time weekly TV on Spike, drawing crowds in the same range as ROH is not considered good at all. Whether or not they will change up the format of live events remains to be seen to get things rolling again.
