World Wrestling Entertainment has signed a wrestler by the name of Byron Wilcott to a developmental deal, reports Mike Johnson.

In an interview with Alex Marvez, former ECW Champion Bobby Lashley opened up on backstage political forces in World Wrestling Entertainment working against him. "I'm not going to say there weren't people there who tried to make things difficult for me," Lashley said. "There are some guys there who won't even warm up before a match and just go out and do blah, blah, blah." He added, "I didn't have the same skills yet as some people there. But I was working at it all the time and at the gym to make my appearance as good as possible. Sometimes in life, you have to work around things and keep climbing. I tried, but I was fighting a losing battle." Lashley eventually left the company to go after his MMA dream. He believes he'll eventually cross paths with Brock Lesnar. "Eventually we'll cross paths, whether it's fighting, training, talking, or shaking hands," Lashley said. "We'll see which it is."

Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus will be appearing on the Pain Clinic radio show tomorrow morning promoting a fundraiser she is participating in for the "Heart & Stroke Foundation." You can listen to Miss Stratus on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. on the air at Sportsradio 1280 WHTK or online at www.whtk.com.
