Sid Vicious/WWE Update, Format Change To ECW Next Week, 'Mania
>> Next week's edition of ECW on Sci will be a "Best of 2008" type show, according to Jim Ross in his latest blog. This explains why ECW was heavy on the Christmas theme even though one more show was scheduled to air before Christmas. WWE's holding a Supershow next Monday night in Toronto, and it probably would have been too much to tape three shows during one live event setting. SmackDown is scheduled to be taped first, with Raw going live at 9:00 p.m. EST.

>> "The Finkel Factor," WWE's new interview show dedicated to WWE Legends and alumni, debuts tonight at 7:00 p.m. EST with special Q&A guest "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

>> As a reminder, the WrestleMania XXIV special featuring highlights from this past year's pay-per-view spectacular is scheduled to replay on MyNetworkTV tonight at 8:00 p.m.

>> In an interview with the Peoria Star, Jerry "The King" Lawler said he's seen seen former WWE/WCW star Sid Vicious and believes he's completely healed from his gruesome leg injury. "To me, he's better than ever," Lawler said. "He's the same Sid he was before the broken leg."

Lawler added that he's heard talk of Sid returning to WWE and he'd like to see it happen. "He's completely healed, and there is some talk he might return to WWE," Lawler said. "He could come back and make a big splash."

Lawler also talked about the differences between working with Michael Cole and working with Jim Ross. "J.R. and I worked together for 15 years. He is great at what he does. He takes it so seriously," Lawler said. "Working with Michael Cole is easy, as well. Michael is a little more ... gosh, he might be a little more like me in the fact he's kind of laid back." Lawler added, "I always keep in mind, this isn't brain surgery, it's not life or death. It's wrestling."

>> Speaking of Lawler, he along with Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Koko B. Ware, will be signing autographs during the Peoria Rivermen's home game tomorrow night against the Iowa Chops. WWE Legends Night starts at 6 p.m.

>> "The Wrestler" director Darren Aronofsky confirmed on The Howard Stern Show this morning that he's giving Vince McMahon a private screening of the film tomorrow (Friday). Aronofsky sounded very excited about it.
