Paul London's Return?, Batista Surgery Update Inside, & More News

? Paul London has been telling promoters that have tried to book him to call back in February, as he is burnt out and wants some time away from the business. AAA is very interested again in bringing in London. He speaks Spanish, he is a high flyer, and they hope that he could teach the young flyers how to work the big spots into their matches better.

? WWE.com has posted an article confirming what we reported earlier this week – Batista has a torn hamstring. There were hopes that Batista would be able to avoid surgery and return to action within a few weeks, but unfortunately that is not the case. Batista will travel to the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday to mend a partial tear in his hamstring tendon. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas ? a colleague of Dr. James Andrews, who has performed countless surgeries for WWE Superstars over the years. Like much of the content at WWE's official site, the article looks to blur the line between fiction and reality. The Animal supposedly underwent a bone graft in his jaw this past Monday, after having two of his teeth successfully removed due to the head punt from Randy Orton 2 weeks ago on RAW. Since Batista's storyline head injury was going to keep him on the shelf for a while anyways, he decided to address the nagging hamstring injury which WWE.com says was suffered during his match with John Cena at SummerSlam. While no timeframe is given for his return, Batista will be out for several months. We wish Big Dave good luck on Friday and a speedy recovery.
