? Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman, who now works as a news anchor for ESPN, has been telling friends he came up with the idea for the WWE Superstars to sport basketball jerseys for the ten-man tag match on Raw two weeks ago. In a related note, one WWE star was quoted as saying: "I had totally forgotten the game was on until I saw the jerseys. And then I said, 'Oh, s**t, the game is on!'"

? Although they had been teaming on WWE television recently, there are no plans to reunite Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas as a tag team. The WWE still has plans to use Benjamin in a singles role. Charlie Haas had been tagging with Mike Knox at Smackdown/ECW house show events, but there is no word on if that will become a new tag team on the Smackdown brand.

? Big Show was said to be unhappy with the way he was portrayed during the May 25 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw two weeks ago. He was said to be unhappy with being completely blown out of the ring twice in the show by John Cena and Batista hurt his character after they had done so much to rebuild him up on Raw. One response to this within the company was that while it may not have went down the way he liked, it did take two guys to do it instead of one.
