Sources within TNA claim company officials are indeed interested in both Umaga and Mr. Kennedy. One member of management sees huge dollar signs in a Umaga vs Samoa Joe feud. Their respective 90-day no-compete clauses with WWE will expire just ten days apart from each other late in the summer.

One person close to recently released WWE wrestler Mr. Kennedy said he's very much looking forward to joining TNA Wrestling in September when his 90-day no-compete clause expires. Kennedy has a lot of confidence and believes he can be a top guy, something he feels Vince McMahon didn't see him as. He feels if he goes to TNA, he can be that top guy, thinking they will allow him to be the character he wants to be without constantly trying to get him to change.
