TNA iMPACT Ratings Breakdown: Who Drew & Who Didn't

The July 9 episode of TNA iMPACT on Spike TV, which drew a 1.2 rating, increased in viewership by 20% from the first hour to the second. The final quarter-hour of the show, featuring Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett with Eric Young as the referee, peaked at a 1.4 rating. This was an increase of 21.4% from the final quarter-hour of the first half of the show. This is good news for the company, as viewers tuning out as the show progresses has always been a problem for them.

The opening segment of the evening averaged a 1.09. For the second quarter, the rating dropped 12.5% to a 0.96 for the two-minute ladder match between Homicide and Doug Williams.

The two Knockouts matches in the fifth quarter-hour of the show, the second of which featured Tara defeating Angelina Love for the Knockouts Championship, averaged a 1.25 rating

The show was up 5.9% in viewership compared to the last five weeks of television.
