Chris Masters made his return to WWE action on RAW this week, wrestling MVP to a double countout. Masters is using his old gimmick and finisher, the Masterlock.

As determined on RAW from a series of Beat the Clock matches, Randy Orton will defend his WWE Title against John Cena at next month's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Shaquille O'Neal was asked by the Washington Post he agreed to host RAW this week: "Well, one, I'm a fan," O'Neal said. "My kids are fans. Me and Shane McMahon have been friends for a long time, so Vince called me and he asked me would I like to host. I asked my kids if they wanted me to host, they said they wanted me to host, so actually I'm just doing my fatherly societal fan duties."
