Backstage Heat On Brutus Magnus, Scott D'Amore's TNA Return, More

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

? TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that Brutus Magnus' standing with TNA officials was said to have been hurt following his performance at the company's Hard Justice PPV back on August 16. Many in the company were not high on the British Invasion vs. Beer Money match because Magnus was out of position quite often. What makes this interesting is that Magnus had impressed people in regards to his potential following his TV match with Sting on iMPACT!, but his poor performance at the PPV seems to have hurt him.

? Some people in the company were high on Kevin "Thorn" Fertig's performance at the iMPACT! tapings on Tuesday. As of right now, he has not been signed to a deal.

? The Miami Herald has an interview up with TNA's Matt Morgan, which you can read at https://www.miamiherald.com/

? As reported on earlier, Scott D'Amore is now back with TNA and is looking at working as an agent at TV and PPV tapings. He had several business interests outside of wrestling including a restaurant, a shopping plaza, construction and waste management projects. D'Amore stated that he is back with TNA because he enjoys wrestling and wants to help TNA out. The belief at this point is that he will again be working closely with the Knockouts division.
