-- The White House made a statement to The Hartford Courant, noting that President Obama did not specifically tape a greeting for WWE to use on their Tribute To The Troops show. The President taped a general greeting that was made available to multiple outlets who wanted to air it. The script contains a generic message of gratitude to the troops, and it does not mention the WWE.
-- A number of undercard performers are worried about their jobs since WWE typically cleans house following the holiday season and there's been ongoing discussions about changing the company's Tuesday night programming. It was reported earlier this week that the organization is expected to release several talents from the main roster early next year to coincide with the changes being made to the SmackDown and ECW brands.
