» Rumors online that Kevin Nash has had conversations with Mark Madden in hopes of convincing him to join TNA as an announcer appear to be false. The story noted that Nash disliked Taz as an announcer and was complaining loudly when he replaced Don West. Nash recently posted on his Twitter account (http://twitter.com/realkevinnash), regarding the report noting: just found out i wanted Taz out and madden in. nash's christmas wish list.....more money for me, more money for me, thought Hogan was calling the shots , Terry how bout a raise 4 your old buddy Nash. N.W.O 4 life and in god we trust. Madden was last in the news when he was fired from his daytime radio gig at ESPN Radio in Pittsburgh, when he made "inappropriate comments" regarding Ted Kennedy. Madden has not been heard from since.
» According to WrestlingINC.com, TNA was pushing very hard to get Jim Ross before Ross signed his new deal with WWE this week.
» Regarding the special four-hour New Years Knockout Eve iMPACT! broadcast, WrestlingINC.com is also reporting that TNA plans on featuring a one-night eight-woman tournament that evening. The show will be taped next week at the tapings.
