– John Hill, also known as Guy "The Stomper" Mitchell and "Gentleman" Jerry Valiant, passed away on Thursday. He was 68. He was a former IWA world champion in Australia in 1966, when IWA was a major player in the wrestling world. He was also held the WWF tag team titles with Johnny Valiant, filling in for an ill Jimmy Valiant. Hill also wrestled as Jerry Heenan and Guy Heenan, and was Bobby Heenan's first managerial client. – The WrestleMania Art Event, which benefits The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona and Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation, announced some major names that will be appearing at the March 24 event. It will take place at The Alhambra Foyer of the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa, 4949 E. Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley. Vince McMahon, Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler were announced for the show, as well as other WWE talents. The official press release calls the event "a one-of-a-kind, star-studded red carpet, art exhibition, silent and live auction, and cocktail reception that kicks off an action-packed WrestleMania XXVI, featuring original artwork created by the WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends." Tickets are $50 for general admission, $175 for VIP admission (which includes a private cocktail reception and exclusive celebrity meet and greet) and $10 for a Red Carpet "Fan Zone" ticket, which gives you access from 5 to 6:45PM onutside the venue for the arrival of the celebrities.
