ROH News: HDNet Issues, Philly Return, Kingston, & More

-- The reason that there have been so many highlight videos and older material being shown on TV lately is because of the Philadelphia blizzard that canceled a taping several months back. They only taped three hours of new material at the time, and had to stretch the three hours of footage to make the six shows. Dave Lagana was at the New York event recently, taping footage that aired on Monday's show.
-- ROH returns to the Arena in Philadelphia on Friday and Saturday to tape the next six editions of the show.
-- ROH is dedicating the next set of TV tapings to the memory of Brad Mackie, who was the lighting director for the tapings. ROH released the following announcement… "We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family. He was a friend, colleague, and a true saint, and he will certainly be missed. Brad is survived by Vicky, his devoted wife of 15 years, and their four children, Bradly, Brooke, Blair, and Blake. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to their children's Tax-Free College Fund at MORGAN STANLEY SMITH BARNEY, 4890 West Kennedy Blvd; Suite 700, Tampa, FL 33609, Account #506-065415."
-- ROH has released the Phoenix shows that were taped WrestleMania weekend, as well as the Big Bang I-PPV, on DVD.
-- Eddie Kingston was interviewed by AOL Fanhouse, discussing the weekend CHIKARA events and his match with Tommy Dreamer.
