TNA News: Foley's New Project, TNA-NYC, IMPACT! Tapings, More
-- An interview with Mick Foley and Shane Riches about Foley's comic mini-series RPM is available at http://www.comicbookresources.com/ The series will follow "Racecar driver Revere Windsor, a descendant of the legendary Paul Revere, as he races from Boston to Miami to deliver an important package. Some international criminals and government agencies look to permanently detour the hero, but thankfully he holds a secret under his metaphorical hood: a hyper-kinetic depth perception that allows him to see and react to things faster than anyone else. Needless to say, expect a few—as Foley's wrestling persona Cactus Jack would say—bang-bangs of explosions in this high-octane adventure." Riches worked with Foley to turn the novel Tietam Brown into a screenplay.
-- Ringside tickets for the July 2nd house show at MCU Park in Brooklyn are sold out. Reports say the plan is to set up the ring near home plate, close to the stands, instead of in the outfield.
-- The Lincoln, NE TNA house show drew in the region of 1,000 fans.
-- The next set of TNA iMPACT! tapings will take place on June 14 and 15 in the Impact Zone.
