-- There were numerous no-shows at this past weekend's K&S Wrestlefest in Carteret, NJ. Tomko missed due to an ankle injury, Eric Embry missed due to a traffic accident, The Bezerker John Nord never got on his flight, Killer Tim Brooks dropped out with no notice, and Jose Lothario and Ashley Massaro did not appear for reasons unknown at this time. The promoters substituted Jerry Lawler, Savio Vega, Chris and Mark Youngblood, and Dick Slater, who were there as vendors, to their VIP package, but there was reportedly a lot of confusion at the event due to the promoters not properly announcing no-shows and changes to the event. Former WWE Women's Champion Mickie James was said to be the top draw of the weekend.
