UFC 118 Fight Bonuses & Gate Revealed + Major Plans

At the UFC 118 press conference, Dana White announced Mark Fisher as the new executive vice president for UFC Asia. Dana stated that the UFC is in 500 million homes in some form, and with the move into the Asian market, they could end up in over 1 billion homes. Fisher previously worked with expanding the NBA into Asia.

The following fighters took home $60,000 fight night bonuses at last night's UFC 118 event:

* Fight of the Night: Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis
* Submission of the Night: Joe Lauzon

-- Since there were no knockouts, no bonus was awarded.

-- It was announced at the post fight presser that the UFC 118 pay-per-view did a $3 million gate, with 15,575 fans in attendance.

-- The UFC 118 post fight presser began at 1:30EST and went until around 2:15AM. It was a very late night in Boston for Dana White and the UFC fighters + press as well as for me covering it! Very little sleep this weekend!
