-- Carlito confirmed on Twitter today that fellow former WWE star Shelton Benjamin has joined the social networking site. His account is located at http://twitter.com/sheltyb803 Benjamin will be reuniting with former WWE tag team partner Charlie Haas on Sept. 11 at Ring of Honor's Glory By Honor XI pay-per-view event at the Manhatten Center in New York City. I will be taking the train down to cover this event. I'll also be covering NXT and SmackDown! tomorrow from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.

-- Northeast Wrestling has confirmed that Bryan Danielson will be working their October 1st benefit show. As of now, this appears to be Danielson's final independent date. This event is a fundraiser to benefit the Waterbury Police Athletic League. The Waterbury Police Activity League (PAL) is a not for profit organization which promotes partnerships between youth, law enforcement, and the community through educational, athletic, and recreational programs designed to encourage team building and foster positive relationships.
