WWE Taping Tribute To The Troops Special Today

WWE will tape their annual Tribute to the Troops special this afternoon at Fort Hood, TX. The show will air as a one-hour special on NBC next Saturday at 9 PM EST.

The advertised matches will include WWE champion The Miz, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Big Show. Celebrities scheduled to participate are recording artists Diddy-Dirty Money and Trace Adkins, Sherri Shepherd from The View, Cedric the Entertainer, Miss USA Rima Fakih and Ariel Winter from ABC's Modern Family.

Yesterday morning, Miz, Mark Henry, Kelly Kelly, and Eve did media interviews to promote the TV taping. There will be a press conference this morning featuring John Cena, Big Show, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, and Eve, as well as guests Cedric The Entertainer and Sherri Shepherd. The TV taping starts at 1 PM and is open to the public at the Fort Hood Visitor's Control Center.

There are also meet & greets scheduled for military only:

- 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Courses at Clear Creek: World Champion Kane, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Reks, Layla, and Hornswoggle.
- 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Clear Creek Post Exchange: Edge.
- 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Phantom Warrior Lanes: U.S. champion Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, Ted DiBiase, David Otunga, Alex Riley, and Melina.
- 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Bronco Youth Center: Dolph Ziggler, Kaval, Chris Masters, Tyler Reks, Lay-Cool, and Hornswoggle.
– 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Howze Auditorium: WWE tag champion Santino Marella and Maryse. Santino and Maryse will also be special guest conductors for one song during the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra event.
