WWE Closing Down Their Social Networking Site - Details

– WWE announced today that they would be shutting down their WWEUniverse.com community website, which began as their in-house version of Myspace and Facebook. For almost a year now, they have been attempting to integrate their content with the more popular social networking systems, such as twitter, while fading out the in-house site. Their online forums will also be gone which seems crazy to me but it is what it is. The official announcement is below:

* Finkel's weekly blogs, as well as The Ross Report from Hall of Famer Jim Ross, will move to their Facebook pages.
