Kelly Kelly Says She's 'All Real', Wrestling Is 'Fake'?

While promoting this Tuesday's SmackDown! taping at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, Kelly Kelly participated in a quirky interview with Cleveland.com's self-professed 'Pop Diva' Andrea Simakis.

Prior to the interview text, Simakis reveals that she was prohibited from referring to WWE as "wrestling." Rather, it is "entertainment" or "sports entertainment." She also adds that wrestlers aren't to be called wrestlers, as they are "Superstars" or "Divas." We noted this last week here on the website.

The SmackDown Diva was asked about WWE discovering her in a modeling catalog and her initial reaction to joining the organization.

She replied, "They knew I had an athletic background. I was a gymnast for 10 years, and I've always been into sports. My agent was like, "It's kind of far-fetched. I don't know if you're interested" and I was like, "Heck yeah! Put me on a plane — I wanna go!"

Some detractors of professional wrestling insist it's fake. Kelly says in response, "I just wanna punch people in the face when they say something like that.

"Luckily, I haven't been severely injured, but I've . . . broken ribs and stuff. It's not as glamorous as it looks. Still, I love comin' to work every week."

Simakis then tells Kelly that her body looks completely real to her.

"Oh, it is," she replied. "I'm not ashamed of it. It's all real. I love getting that question because I'm like, "Yes they are and I'm so proud."

Simakis then asks whether her fellow Divas are worried about their breast implants exploding when they hit the mat. The interview, however, comes to a halt as a WWE P.R. guy listening in suggests it ends. Seriously.

Other topics discussed include her wrestling outfits, her ring name, whether any soldiers "got fresh" with her during her visit to Afghanistan last year, and more.
