Sound Off: Your Thoughts On Tonight's Episode Of Smackdown

Tonight's show aired from the the legend of all legends, Ric Flair - that being Charlotte North Carolina. It began with Del Rio ranting about his loss at Wrestlemania this past Sunday, to which Christian came out and denied him a rematch. Teddy Long came out to announce a #1 Contenders match between Christian & Del Rio for later in the night. A well fought out match to end the evening, which saw Del Rio winning after nailing a kick to the head of a distracted Christian and getting the pinfall.

Tonight we also saw a great 8 Man Tag Match for 2 out of 3 falls between The Big Show, Kane, Santino & Kofi Kingston against Wade Barret and his Corre buddies. Kofi got the first pinfall after hitting Gabriel with a flying cross body from the top rope. But Barrett tied it up after hitting Santino with the Wasteland. Kane picked up the win for the entire match after he was attacked by all members of the Corre causing a DQ.

The night also featured a divas match between Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix versus LayCool. Kelly got the win with a quick roll up on a distracted Layla, who has finally started to feud with her long time partner in crime, Michelle McCool. Layla went for a tag, but Michelle feigned a back injury to cause the distraction. This stemming from a incident earlier in the match where Michelle accidentally bumped Layla off the apron & onto the floor. Michelle didn't see it and thought Layla was fooling around. The two are apparently scheduled to see a couple's therapist in the near future. Good luck to them.

We also saw Cody Rhodes getting a quick & easy win over Trent Barreta, with his post match beating on Trent being interrupted by Rey Mysterio who came out to make the save. Jack Swagger came out to join Michael Cole in another ranting only to be interrupted by the debuting Sin Cara who took it to the All American American.
