TNA announced Saturday that they have released Matt Hardy from the company following an arrest over the weekend for driving while intoxicated in North Carolina.

Hardy was already under suspension for what was being reported as constant lateness to live events.

Hardy's brother, Jeff, remains on the IMPACT Wrestling roster.
