truTV Enters Ring with New Series Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, Premiering Wednesday, Sept. 14

"Half the size. Twice the violence." That's the mantra of the all-new Micro Championship Wrestling (MCW), the league at the center of truTV's exciting, eye-opening new series Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling. Hulk Hogan, one of the legendary stars of pro wrestling, lends his expertise to the new Micro Championship Wrestling (MCW), where he provides little wrestlers with advice, guidance and training. With Hulk's unique insight, the wrestlers have the support of a legend and the chance of a lifetime.

Set to premiere Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling takes viewers inside all of the insane action, conflict and drama it takes to create a pro wrestling league from scratch.

The league began as a dream from Johnny Greene, a full-sized manager and former wrestler, and became a reality with the help of his right hand man Demo, one of the MCW's top wrestlers. They are joined by wrestlers Blixx, who believes the league can do better than performing for frat parties; Justice, who is ready to throw down anyone who calls him a "little person"; and Meatball, whose signature move becomes a point of contention.

In the opening episode of Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, Johnny and the wrestlers are desperately trying to get their new league up and running. But bad gigs and infighting threaten the dream. When the situation threatens the life of one of the wrestlers, it's clearly time for Hulk Hogan, a longtime friend of Johnny's, to step in and help. Before sending them on a six state wrestling tour under his banner, Hulk brings on wrestling legend and "Nasty Boy" Brian Knobbs for some back-to-basics training, but not everyone is ready to go back to square one.

Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling comes to truTV from Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment (Scott Baio is 45...and Single, Beverly Hills Fabulous). Hulk Hogan is an executive producer, along with Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey. Darryl Silver serves as showrunner.
