Tonight's NWA Event In Cypress, Ultimate Warrior Appearances & More
-- Two NWA World Championship matches headline tonight's NWA Houston event in Cypress. Main eventing the card will be NWA World Champion Adam Pearce vs. former Deep South wrestler Jaykus Plisken. -- Memphis Heat: The True Story of Memphis Wrasslin' will make its Hollywood World Premiere at a special free screening of the documentary at the Second City - Hollywood Theatre on Sunday October 30, 2011 at 3 pm. The film will be introduced by "KentuckyFriedWrestling.com" writer and former Memphis wrasslin' manager Scott Bowden. Immediately following the screening, a Q and A will be held with Memphis Heat director Chad Schaffler. The Q and A will be hosted by Marc Warzecha of the "Curtain Jerks" wrestling/comedy podcast. Tickets are free but to guarantee seating to this special, one-time-only-event, please RSVP to CurtainJerks@yahoo.com. Any remaining seats will be first come, first serve at the door.

-- The Ultimate Warrior will be at SoundCheck Hollywood on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 29th for an in-store signing. Warrior will also be in full costume for the first time in years. -- Later that week, The Ultimate Warrior will join the mighty Winds of Plague on stage at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Halloween night to perform his spoken word segment from the band's track "The Warrior Code."
