Videos: Unforgettable Debuts At "The Survivor Series" (Flair, Owen, Rock, 'Taker, Angle)

With the 25th annual Survivor Series just days away, we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some highlights from the event. We posted some of the Rock's greatest moments at the event earlier this week, you can check that out by clicking here. Today we will take a look at some of the unforgettable debuts at the event. In the coming days, we will also look at the best and worst moments from the event and more.

1988: Owen Hart makes his WWF pay-per-view debut as The Blue Blazer:

1990: Perhaps one of the most embarrassing moments in Survivor Series history, the Gobbledy Gooker made his debut at this event. For weeks, the promotion had been hyping a giant egg being hatched at the event. The Undertaker, who also made his debut at the event, often said that he was worried that he would be revealed to be in the egg. Well, the egg hatched, and you can check out the result below:

1990: Making up for the epic fail of the Gobbledy Gooker was the epic televised debut of The Undertaker. For the next few weeks, 'Taker would be billed as "Kane the Undertaker" before finally settling on just "The Undertaker."

1991: Ric Flair started appearing in WWF in 1991, proclaiming himself "The Real World's Champion," and even showcasing his NWA World Championship belt to prove it. Flair finally made his televised WWF wrestling debut at the event:

Later on the same night, Flair helped The Undertaker defeat Hulk Hogan for his first world championship:

1996: The Rock made his debut 15 years ago. Judging from this interview before the event, who would have that that he would become one of the biggest mainstream wrestling stars in pro wrestling history?

Rock (as Rocky Maivia) debuts and teams with Marc Mero, Jake Roberts and Barry Windham to face Crush, Jerry Lawler, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Goldust. Note Jim Ross saying "He's going to be the man, right there" when Rock comes out.

1999: After weeks of vignettes airing hyping Kurt Angle's WWF debut, Angle finally stepped in the ring to face Shawn Stasiak:
