1990: Making up for the epic fail of the Gobbledy Gooker was the epic televised debut of The Undertaker. For the next few weeks, 'Taker would be billed as "Kane the Undertaker" before finally settling on just "The Undertaker."
1991: Ric Flair started appearing in WWF in 1991, proclaiming himself "The Real World's Champion," and even showcasing his NWA World Championship belt to prove it. Flair finally made his televised WWF wrestling debut at the event:
1996: The Rock made his debut 15 years ago. Judging from this interview before the event, who would have that that he would become one of the biggest mainstream wrestling stars in pro wrestling history?
Rock (as Rocky Maivia) debuts and teams with Marc Mero, Jake Roberts and Barry Windham to face Crush, Jerry Lawler, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Goldust. Note Jim Ross saying "He's going to be the man, right there" when Rock comes out.
