Ric Flair Referenced During Sugar Bowl, DVDs, More

-- The weekend of April 28th and 29th will be a busy one for wrestling fans in Chicago. ROH runs on April 28th at the Frontier Fieldhouse. CHIKARA is also running the 28th in Chicago. On April 29th, WWE runs the Extreme Rules PPV at the Allstate Arena.

-- PWTorch reports that Ric Flair was mentioned during ESPN's broadcast of the Sugar Bowl. Announcer Brad Nessler said that Virginia Tech's David Wilson, was "stylin' and profilin' like my friend Ric Flair." This ended up getting Flair's name trending on Twitter.

Nessler actually has ties to pro wrestling, as he's a good friend of Jim Ross and had dinner with Ross before calling Oklahoma Sooners football games.
