-- Santino Marella became the new assistant to the SmackDown General Manager on Friday's SmackDown after defeating Drew McIntyre. Drew will have another SmackDown match on next week's show with the storyline that if he loses, Teddy Long may fire him.

-- The official theme song for WWE's Royal Rumble pay-per-view is "Dark Horses" by Switchfoot.
