TNA Impact Results: Sting/Roode Contract Signing, Anderson/Daniels, Storm/Gunner, Angle/Garett

Sting and Roode arrive backstage; they show a video package of their saga.

James Storm makes his way to the ring. He has been waiting for his title match since November. He says Roode is selfish. He's going to give Roode an ass-whippin'. He starts to say sorry 'bout your luck, but he says Roode is going to need all the luck he can get. Bully Ray comes out. Storm challenges him to a match. Bully says, 'kiss my cavs.' Bully Ray says he'll take him out in 3 days. Storm approaches him on the ramp. Ray says he's going to fight Gunner. Gunner comes out and stares Storm down. They brawl, but are separated by the agents.

Backstage: Gail Kim and Madison Rayne are arguing. They complain to Sting. He says this is a bad night. Gail is going to wrestle Mickie and Madison will wrestle Velvet. They continue arguing as Sting walks away.

Roode cuts a promo package about taking Sting out at Victory Road.

Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Skye

Velvet attacks Madison with a mount. Velvet rams her into the turnbuckle. Madison slams her head to the mat and waves to the crowd. She throws Velvet to the outside. Madison hits a neck-breaker in the ropes for a near fall. Velvet counters a headlock with a chin-buster. Velvet hits a clothesline. Velvet rolls her up, attempts to grab the tights, Madison counters with her own roll up, grabs the tights and makes the pin.

Winner by pin: Madison Rayne (4:00)

Earlier in the day: Morgan and Crimson are arguing about last week. Crimson says we won didn't we? Crimson says he's undefeated and he knows about winning matches. Morgan says they'll be good when they get their titles back.

Crimson w/ Morgan vs. Samoa Joe w/ Magnus

Joe kicks Crimson in the head in the corner. Joe snap mares him with kicks to the chest. Morgan distracts Joe, Crimson capitalizes. Crimson hits a neck-breaker. Joe hits a snap slam for a near-fall. Crimson hits a spine-buster. Crimson charges him; Joe catches him with a Rock Bottom. Magnus and Morgan fight on the outside; Morgan drives Joe's neck across the top rope; Crimson hits a spear for the pin.

Austin Aries is backstage with a bottle of champagne.

Aries is in the ring. He tells the fans to keep it down. He says it's a great day to break records. He says he is the longest running X-Division champion of all time. He shows a video of his highlights with the title. He is dancing to the music in the ring. He thanks himself. He thanks his opponents for being good but not great; he toasts himself. Zema Ion comes out to the ring. Ion says he better give him the title now because this Sunday the same thing that happened to Sorensen can happen to him. Aries tells Ion to toast him and gives him the glass. Ion makes a toast and throws the champagne in his face. Aries grabs him and pours the bottle on him; Aries throws him out of the ring. Ion is screaming about his hair as he walks up the ramp.

Joseph Park is backstage asking Gunner about Abyss. Gunner says he's got a match a leaves. Park chuckles.

ODB and Young are in the locker room making plans for the wedding. Young sees the ring and it reminds him of a wrestling ring. They are going to get married on Impact.

Angle is backstage. He says Garett "b—h-off" has to face him in a 5 minute match. He says Hardy's last match might be this Sunday; he hates Hardy.

Sting cuts a promo package about Victory Road. He says it's going to be every personality he's ever had. It will be a good night; he might even surprise himself.

Mickie James vs. Gail Kim

They exchange some fast-paced offense. Kim grabs the title; James stops her from using it. Kim hits a unique knee-breaker. Kim is working the knee. Kim applies a submission move on the knee; it looks like a Figure-Four. She applies a different one; it's like a half Boston Crab. James recovers and hits a Thesz Press. Kim grabs the title again and drills her in the head for the pin.

Winner by pin: Gail Kim (6:00)

Earlier in the day: Mr. Anderson is backstage talking about AJ. Kazarian and Daniels interrupt. They say their situation with AJ has nothing to do with Anderson. They say this will end like one of Anderson's movies: poorly. Anderson says they'll find out tonight.

Mr. Anderson vs. Christopher Daniels

Anderson grabs the mic on the stage and says he's "missed you a**holes." Daniels gets the early advantage. Daniels has a cut on his cheek. Anderson hits a couple of hip-tosses. Daniels hits a knee to Anderson's torso. Daniels stomps him in the corner. Daniels hits a Northern Lights Suplex, into a bridge for a near-fall. Anderson hits a neck-breaker. Daniels gets kicked in the head; Daniels puts his foot on the rope to break the count. Kazarian makes his way to the ring; AJ pulls him off the apron; Anderson hits the Mic Check for the pin.

Hardy is backstage. He says it's gotten personal between him and Angle. He hopes Angle is ready.

Five Minute Challenge: Kurt Angle vs. Garett Bischoff

Angle charges him as soon as the bell sounds. Taz says he knows about facing Angle. Angle hits a snap-suplex; he pulls Garett up before the ref can count to three. Angle keeps his eyes on the clock. Angle plays to the fans. Garett tries to mount a comeback; Angle hits a crossface forearm. He throws Garett to the outside. Angle snap-suplexes Garett on the floor. Kurt breaks his own count again. Angle hits a belly-to-belly. 1 minute left. Angle hits a leg-drop; he pulls down his straps. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Garett counters. He throws Angle to the outside. 15 seconds left. Garett hits a front dropkick; Angle hits the Angle Slam, time runs-out.

Draw: Garett survives (5:00)

Angle punches the ref and begins pounding Garett. He puts him in the ankle-lock. Hardy comes out and makes the save. Angle retreats as he and Hardy stare each other down.

The Robbies are backstage checking out TNA merchandise. The interviewer asks about the open challenge. They say it doesn't matter who it is.

Gunner vs. James Storm

Storm gets in some punches; Gunner thumbs Storm in the eyes. Storm hits a clothesline. Gunner has him in a reverse headlock. Bully Ray is on the ramp rooting on Gunner. Storm mounts a comeback. He drops Gunner with a clothesline. Gunner bumps around; Storm hits a back body-drop, then the Closing Time. He hits the Last Call for the pin.

Winner by pin: James Storm (4:00)

Bully talks trash on the ramp; he rushes the ring but changes his mind when Storm swings at him. Bully retreats.

Roode cuts a promo package. He says he's earned everything. He says Sting is jealous. They are both walking to the ring.

Roode and Sting continue their promo packages.
Both men are in the ring. Borash is mediating. Sting signs the contract. Roode signs as well. Roode gets up and snatches the mic; he sits back down. The crowd chants, "Bobby Sucks," very loudly. Roode says that ever since November Sting has been a pain. Roode says Sting is jealous. He walks toward Sting. He asks Sting if he remembers 22 years ago when he beat Flair. Roode says he wanted to be just like Sting; now when Sting looks at Roode, he sees himself 22 years ago. The crowd chants, "You still got it." Roode says he's better than Sting ever was. He tells Sting to let go; the business has passed Sting by. He says Sting has lost a step. Roode says Sting wears face paint to hide the fact that he doesn't have what it takes. Sting is listening patiently. Roode says Sting is a washed-up has-been. Roode grabs his title to walk away; Sting flips the table over. He puts make-up on his face. He rubs some black paint on Roode's face. Sting unloads on him. He smears more paint on Roode. He dominates Roode; he clotheslines Roode to the outside. Sting celebrates in the ring.
