The show opens with the RAW video package. We are live from Philadelphia. HHH/Taker/Michaels will be in the ring tonight; John Cena will face Mark Henry. The Rock is in the house. CM Punk is introduced and is making his way to the ring. They show Jericho's promo from last week. Punk looks very upset. He says Jericho is not here tonight. Punk says that's a gift and he's pissed off. Punk says his dad's alcoholism is none of Jericho's business. Punk says he's going to unleash his monster on Jericho at WrestleMania. He says his dad has beaten his addiction and he is proud of his father. He says he will go through Jericho at Mania and that he is the best in the world.

Jericho shows up on the Titantron. He apologizes for his comments last week. Chris looks very sincere; he is not wearing the 'Lite-Brite' jacket, just a normal suit. He says he will never talk about Punk's father on this show again. Jericho however brings up Punk's sister. He says she has a substance abuse problem. Punk tries to cut him off and tells him to just shut up. Jericho says he sees a pattern: Punk is going to drink. Punk is livid; he says something that the crowd pops for but the censors edited it out. Punk says that is exactly what he will beat out of Jericho. Punk's music hits and he stalks his way back up the ramp. Kane vs. Big Show is next.

Big Show vs. Kane

Big Show makes his way to the ring. Cody Rhodes' music hits. He joins the announce booth. Cole says they've been told to show a video package of Big Show's embarrassing Mania moments; they do. Kane goes for an early chokeslam but Show counters with his own attempt. Kane counters too; Show spears him. Cody is actually ringside with a pair of boxing gloves on; he's shadow-boxing. Show goes to the middle turnbuckle; Rhodes jumps on the apron and Show knocks him off. Kane hits a chokeslam off of the turnbuckle and pins Show.

Winner by pin: Kane (1:00)

Cody goes in the ring, springboards off the ropes, and hits a Disaster Kick to Show's head. He grabs handcuffs from ringside and cuffs Show's hands behind his back. Cody puts on the gloves again. He repeatedly punches show in the head and face. Two refs try to stop him. Show is irate. He tells Cody to run; Cody retreats. Someone cuts Show's cuffs off. Show is dazed; he stumbles as he tries to chase Cody.

David Otunga and John Laurinaitis make their way to the ring. Santino comes out with Teddy Long.

Santino vs. David Otunga

The crowd is hot for Santino. The two GM's are on commentary. Santino and Otunga do a pose down. Otunga attacks Santino; Santino gets some early offense; he pulls out the cobra. Laurinaitis goes to ringside with his phone; Long knocks it out of his hand and it falls in the ring. Santino stomps the phone to pieces. Otunga comes from behind Santino and hits him with a spinebuster of sorts and pins him.

Winner by pin: David Otunga (1:00)

Laurinaitis mocks Santino in the ring and gets in Long's face. Long slaps him in the face. Laurinaitis tries to grab him but Long escapes. Laurinaitis is beside himself as Otunga holds him back. The crowd chants, 'Teddy,' as Long dances on the stage; Santino joins him.

The Rock is standing in front of the "Rocky" statue in Philadelphia. He says a couple of famous Philadelphia related sayings. He says that ultimately, Philadelphia is the city of 'a** kickers.' He says the statue behind him is representative of the fighting spirit of Philadelphia.

They cut to a picture of the Rock from when he was 12 years old, standing in front of the statue with his arms raised. Rocky makes fun of the way he looked at 12. The Rock takes us down WrestleMania lane, explaining how he has always wanted to be the best. They show Hogan; they show the Warrior. Rocky says that soon he was headlining his own WrestleMania, here in Philly. After losing that night, Rocky says he vowed to realize his dream of being the greatest. Rocky says there is only one guy left to beat: John Cena.

Rocky says he is on his way to the arena. He says he is going to get a Philly cheese steak and stick it straight up Cena's candy***. Rocky references Foley, Flair, and Savage. Rock says it's just the beginning. He says when he beats Cena his dream of being the best will come true. Daniel Bryan vs. Zack Ryder is next.

Zack Ryder vs. Daniel Bryan

They show Ryder from earlier in the day, lobbying to fans outside with a megaphone, to get on WrestleMania; Long's team to be exact. Bryan kisses AJ before the bell rings. Ryder hits a shoulder-block. Bryan knees him in the kidney. Bryan slingshots Ryder's neck on the bottom rope. Ryder gets the advantage and kicks Bryan in the head in the corner. Bryan catches Ryder in mid-air with the Labelle Lock; Ryder taps immediately.

Winner by submission: Daniel Bryan (1:00)

They show an article from TMZ stating that Cena was in a car wreck earlier in the day. Cena vs. Henry is next.

Cena vs. Mark Henry

They lock-up; Henry powers Cena to the mat. They lock-up again; Henry throws him to the outside. Henry is physically dominating Cena. They go to the outside. Cena goes to break the count; Henry pulls him back out.


Henry hits a splash for a near fall. Cole wonders if the car wreck has affected Cena's performance. Henry charges Cena in the corner but Cena moves and hits a side suplex. He does the Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena tries his finisher but Henry counters. Cena counters Henry's finisher. Cena finally execute the Attitude Adjustment for the pin.

Winner by pin: John Cena (5:00)

Rocky's music hits...

Rocky Rock Bottoms Henry, stares at Cena, and leaves. Cena points at the Mania sign and mouths "two weeks."

They show what's been going on in the Taker/HHH/Michaels saga.


They show a clip from Extra when Beth Phoenix and Eve crashed Kelly Kelly's interview with Maria Menounos. They make a match at Mania. It will be Beth and Eve vs. Kelly and Maria.
Miz is in the ring. He says King Kong Bundy went from being in the main event of WrestleMania 2 to wrestling little people in Mania 3. He says that until now that was the biggest drop-off in history. He has issued an open challenge to prove he deserves to be on Laurinaitis' team. Sheamus' music hits.

Sheamus vs. Miz

Both men begin with strikes. Miz is being very aggressive. Sheamus powers him up and slams him for a near fall. Otunga and Laurinaitis look on backstage. Miz has a rear neck-lock applied. Sheamus fights to his feet. Sheamus hits a powerslam. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick for the pin.

Winner by pin: Sheamus (3:00)

Josh Matthews introduces Randy Orton. They are on a stage to the right of the Titantron where the old announce booth used to be. Orton says he already beat Kane last summer. Orton says Orton is not the Big Red Machine or the Devil's favorite demon; His name is Randy Orton.

Vickie Guerrero introduces the newest members of Team Johnny: Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler.


Swagger and Ziggler vs. Kofi and R-Truth

Swagger and Ziggler double team Kofi. Stephanie McMahon is trending. (why?) Kofi hits a back slide for a near fall. Ziggler hits a beautiful drop kick on Kofi for a near fall. Swagger is back in; they are isolating Kofi from his corner. Kofi hits a beautiful DDT. He makes the tag to Truth; Ziggler tags too. Ziggler bumps around for Truth's aggressive offense. Kofi jumps on Swagger on the outside. Ziggler dops a leg on the back of Truth's head; Truth gets his foot on the rope but Vickie pushes it off.
Winners by pin: Swagger and Ziggler (5:00)

Aksana confronts Vickie and pushes her down. She tries to tell the ref what happened. Vickie gets in her face and they have a cat-fight. Everybody struggles to pull them apart.

They show HHH from the house show at MSG last night; he Tombstones Ziggler. The End of an Era confrontation is next.


Michaels makes his way to the ring. The crowd is hot for him. He says it's cool that he holds the fate of the end of an era in his hand. Taker's music hits. Taker tells him to shut up and listen. He says the match has to remain pure. HHH's music hits. Hunter is not wearing a suit; just jeans and a HHH shirt. Michaels is also in a shirt and jeans; Taker is still not showing his haircut.

Hunter says this is not about Shawn. He says it's their destiny to do this. Hunter says that of the 24 Hell in a Cell matches, he and Taker have been in 19 of them. Hunter says he thrives in the Cell. Taker asks if Hunter is willing to put his family, career, life, etc. on the line. Hunter says if it means giving Taker the end that he deserves, then, yes. Hunter says, "And I will." Taker goes to leave, but he turns back toward HHH. He asks if HHH remembers when Taker said Shawn was better: "He is." Taker leaves; Shawn and HHH stare at each other; HHH looks away toward the ramp; Shawn smirks.
