WWE NXT Recap: Striker Kidnapped, Regal Gets Foot Massage, Kidd Vs. McGillicutty

The show begins with the NXT video package. Matthews and Regal are on commentary. Matt Striker is in the ring. He says Regal has made 4 matches for the evening. The main event will be Tyson Kidd vs. Michael McGillicutty.

Curt Hawkins vs. Justin Gabriel

The two men lock-up; Gabriel gets the upper-hand. He whips Hawkins into the corner and follows-up with a splash. Gabriel then goes to the apron and springboards off the top rope with a high cross-body, but Hawkins moves, causing Gabriel to land face-and-belly-first on the mat. Hawkins capitalizes with a knee to the gut. Hawkins hits a nice bodyslam for a near fall. Gabriel works his way up and springs off the ropes but Hawkins baseball-slides under the bottom rope to the outside. Hawkins tells Regal he runs this show. Back in the ring, Gabriel moves as Hawkins charges him in the corner; Gabriel jumps on the second turnbuckle and hits a back-kick to Hawkins' face. Gabriel hits the 450 Splash for the win.

Hawkins stares Regal down as he sells the move and walks away.
Kaitlyn and Bateman are backstage walking hand-in-hand. They run into Tamina; she is happy for them. The couple leaves. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young come into the shot. Titus is wearing a suit and he is doing his best Arsenio Hall-from-Coming to America-preacher-impression. He calls her a goddess and tells her that he's taken but Darren wants to take her out. Darren awkwardly begins to ask her out when the Uso's come into the shot and say no. The four men insult each other. The Uso's say they will see them in the ring and walk away. Tamina walks away with a disgusted look. Titus tells Young he needs to get with her but for now he should focus. Darren Young vs. Jimmy Uso is next

Darren Young vs. Jimmy Uso w/Jey

The two men trade elbows and chops to the chest. Jimmy stomps Young in the corner. Young tries to leave up the ramp but Jimmy catches him and sends him back in. Jey is on commentary. Young throws Jimmy over the top, to the outside.

Back in the ring, Young is punching Jimmy in the head down on the mat. Regal informs us that during the break the crowd was chanting, "No one knows you," at Young. Young is in full control of Jimmy. Jimmy counters Young on the turnbuckle and kicks him in the back of the head. Jey leaves the booth and begins and "Uso" chant with the crowd. It works because Jimmy hits 2 clotheslines and a back bodydrop on Young. Jimmy hits the running StinkFace. Young kicks out at 2. Young avoids a high-flying attempt from Jimmy and throws him shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. Young hits a modified GTS, where he falls to his back and puts both knees up, and letting Jimmy crash down on them. He gets the pin.

Winner by pin: Darren Young (5:00)

Jey checks on his brother. Backstage, Tamina is looking on, on a monitor while Young celebrates. Titus shows up and tells her to take the night off.
Josh Matthews gets a text on his phone saying his car is gone; he gets up and leaves.

They cut to Maxine telling Johnny Curtis that while Matthews goes to look for his car, she can get next to Regal; she wants off the show. Striker walks past them from around the corner and Curtis smothers him from behind with chloroform, apparently thinking it was Matthews. Maxine fusses at him. They dump Striker in one of those blue equipment crates. Maxine leaves for the announce booth and tells Curtis to stay put. Rhianna...err Alicia Fox walks by; Curtis hits on her; she is disgusted; he creepily follows her.

Maxine makes her way to down the ramp, carrying a gift basket. She joins Regal and says she has brought him some gifts; they are various lotions and creams.

Percy Watson vs. Tyler Reks

Maxine hits on Regal on commentary. Reks and Watson mix it up in the ring. Maxine asks Regal if he's ever had a foot massage. She proceeds to give the man a bare foot massage. Reks is distracted by this on the outside and Watson leaps over the top rope onto him.

Reks hits bodyslam in the ring. We get a close-up of Regal's foot. Reks wraps Watson's arm around the pole. Regal says he's been forced to dress in drag and he alludes to having to kiss Vince's a**; he says this is nice. He says he's glad it's Maxine and not Hornswoggle. Reks works the left arm. Maxine starts giving Regal a scalp massage. Watson hits a drop kick on Reks. Watson ducks a clothesline for a leaping clothesline of his own. Watson hits his "Heisman" splash for a near fall. Watson hits a backbody slam for the pin.

Maxine tells Regal that later in the night he should let her give him a deep tissue massage.

Matthews returns to commentary.

RAW rebound: HHH/Taker/Michaels

Johnny Curtis opens the crate Striker was in but he's not there. Maxine shows up and Curtis tries to play it off. She wants to get Striker out of there and leave. He asks her if she wants to make out. She asks if he "killed him." He opens the crate; there is a ransom note inside.

Kaitlyn and Bateman show up. Maxine accuses Kaitlyn of being involved. They don't know what she's talking about. Maxine pushes Curtis in the crate and storms off. We hear her scream, "Find Striker," from off-camera.

Michael McGillicutty vs. Tyson Kidd

They show a video of their problems of late. Kidd starts off with a nice dropkick to a charging McGillicutty. McGillicutty catches him with a big boot. Kidd hits a hurricanrana off the apron to the floor.

McGillicutty has the upper-hand; he drops Kidd face-first on the announce table. Kidd has welts on his body. Kidd works his way up from a headlock. Kidd hits a drop toe-hold, sending McGillicutty's head into the second turnbuckle. Kidd hits a flurry of kicks. Kidd hits a nice leg drop on the back of McGillicutty's head while draped on the bottom rope, then he springboards off the top to deliver an elbow-drop, but McGillicutty gets his knees up. McGillicutty hits a beautiful saito suplex. Kidd counters a back bodydrop and looks for the Sharpshooter; McGillicutty kicks him through the ropes, to the apron. Kidd slingshots himself over McGillicutty and hits a modified hurricanrana for the roll-up pin.

Winner by pin: Tyson Kidd (7:30)

Kidd holds up his 2 index fingers signifying that they are 1-1 in the series. Kidd walks up the ramp. McGillicutty asks for a mic in the ring. He says he's going to hurt Kidd where it hurts the most, his "Hart."
